Social workers are keenly aware of the suffering created by inadequate resources for homelessness. Confronting that suffering day after day can create challenges among those who are trying to make a difference.

This website supports the frontline hospital social workers assisting homeless patients. It acknowledges the difficulty of this work, identifies some of its side effects, and proposes an approach to helping that makes a difference to social worker and patient alike.
